Synopsis: Michael and Dwight decide to surprise Ryan in New York for a night of clubbing and meet his friends. Meanwhile, the Scranton branch is upset when they find out they have to come in on a Saturday for Ryan's website project. Jim's plan to save them has unexpected results.

this the my least favorite episode of the office. hands down. the whole thing felt like it was written in a huge rush, and by someone who had only watched like 4 episodes of the show. granted that isn't the case, but before i knew it was written by mindy i thought for sure it was some new writer. nobody seemed to act like themselves. i found the whole thing unsettling and just not fun. i've been watching the show since season one and this episode felt below par.
'Below par' means worse. Wait, that should mean better-- that doesn't make sense.

I love how when things aren't going his way, Michael calls his mother for sympathy and support.
